WOVI Inspection in Brisbane

If you've bought a repairable write-off in Brisbane, you'll need to pass a Written-Off Vehicle Inspection (WOVI) before Queensland Transport will let you re-register it. Brisbane drivers can be inspected at the Eagle Farm station in the north or Rocklea in the south, the two busiest written-off vehicle inspection sites in Queensland.

What to bring to your Brisbane WOVI inspection

Turning up with complete paperwork is the single biggest factor in passing first time. For your inspection you'll generally need:

• Photo identification and your customer reference number (CRN)
• Tax invoices and receipts for all parts used in the repair
• Receipts for any second-hand parts, with the donor vehicle details
• Before, during and after photos of the repair work
• Proof of purchase showing how and where you bought the vehicle
• The written-off vehicle's identifiers (VIN, engine and compliance plates)

   Assemble your receipts and photos in order so the assessor can match every part to the damage.

   Attend the inspection

   Present the vehicle and paperwork at Eagle Farm & Rocklea. The assessor checks identity, safety and that repairs match the recorded damage.

5. 5

   Re-register your vehicle

   Once you pass, take your WOVI approval to Queensland Transport to complete registration.
